Gütermann Basting thread is a 100% cotton thread ideal for making temporary stitches intended for removal. It can be used to hold a seam in place, for pattern markings, sandwiching, for attaching (removable) brand labels on clothes and much more. Gütermann basting thread is a quality thread that is easily breakable by hand. Washable up to 95°C. Each spool holds 200 metres of thread.
